Monday to Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Saturday: 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

How To Use Our Telephone System

When you call Longwood Veterinary Clinic, you will initially get the dreaded automated system.  We know you don’t like it and neither do we, but it does allow us to efficiently direct you to the area where you can best be served.

After the initial greeting:

For EMERGENCIES:  Dial 2.
Your call will be diverted to Client Care who will assist you immediately.

For PRESCRIPTION REFILLS: Dial 3
Make sure you leave detailed information including your name, your pet’s name, your phone number, the medication you need and information from the previous label including the volume of the prescription and the instructions.

For QUESTIONS (medical or otherwise):  Dial 4
Leave a detailed message and a technician will call you back as quickly as possible.  All information will be related FROM A DOCTOR.  By leaving a message and accepting a return call from a technician, we can serve you faster, more efficiently, and with greater accuracy.

Many clients have a preference to speak directly to a veterinarian.  While this is possible, our busy schedule often does not allow the doctors to return phone calls until after hours.  If you must speak only to the veterinarian, we appreciate your patience.  If you can accept a call from a tech, you will get your needs met much more quickly.
