Dr. Medina was born and raised in Puerto Rico, where her passion for animals and veterinary medicine began at a young age and led her to volunteer at a local veterinary clinic. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Puerto Rico before pursuing her veterinary education at Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2018.
After practicing in Texas for several years, she moved to Florida for a new adventure — and a little more Disney magic. Dr. Medina truly believes pets bring incredible joy and happiness into our lives and she feels fortunate to be part of the bond between animals and their people. She also believes every pet deserves compassionate, individualized care and in treating each patient as if they were her own.
Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, shopping, spending time with her dogs, Disney, and playing sports.
